UPCOMING BOOKS:

For all the Oxford Tearoom Mysteries fans, you'll be pleased to know that I've already started writing the new book (Book 10)... and it's going to be a Christmas mystery! :-)

Depending on how soon I can finish writing it - and the schedules of my "publishing team" (my beta readers, editor and proofreader) - I'm hoping to release it by end October / early November.

And for all those asking when the next Poppy book will be out - I'm planning to start writing the next English Cottage Garden mystery (Book 4) in the lead up to Christmas... to be released early next year.

Whew! I've got a very busy few months' of writing ahead!! ;-)

It's just as well that my eyes are recovering well - haha! I'm no longer having to put drops as often and don't suffer from "dry eyes" as much now.

Thank you to those who have continued to ask after me - so sweet of you! And thanks also for all the helpful suggestions such as special protective glasses and dictation to reduce screen time. Yes, I do dictate when I can, although I find that I don't compose/narrate as well verbally as I do on paper - it's harder to find my "voice" so I often have to rewrite/revise extensively. But it does help to get a basic scaffolding of the story down faster and does mean I spend less time overall sitting at the keyboard.

Finally, for all the Muesli fans - I'll leave you with a recent photo of my little cat enjoying her afternoon nap in the garden... beneath one of my gorgeous azaleas! This one has been trained as a standard (tree shape) and has been the star of the garden the last few weeks. It's fading slightly now but still beautiful. My roses are full of buds and just about to start their spring flush, so they'll be taking over soon! ;-)
