Well! After my last quiet spell, I bet you didn’t expect to hear from me again so soon—hah!

I've got something really exciting that I wanted to share with you today: a "chatty video surprise"! But first, I also wanted to show you the new covers for my Oxford Tearoom Mysteries.

In Book News... 

As I explained in my last newsletter, I'd been getting so many compliments about the cover style of my French translations that I decided to adapt the French covers for the English editions too. 

So in the last newsletter, I showed you the English Cottage Garden Mysteries in their new clothes (you can catch up HERE if you missed it!)... and today, I'm sharing the new Oxford Tearoom Mysteries covers with their "French makeover"! 😉

What do you think? It was quite a challenge but I'm pleased to have found a cat that looks a lot like the real-life Muesli!

These aren't totally faithful to the original French design as those didn't feature a cat so prominently on each cover. But I know that my US and UK audiences love cats, so I made sure the adapted versions were tweaked to have more of a "feline presence"! 😉

As with the English Cottage Garden Mysteries, the ebook covers have been changed over but the print editions are lagging behind, as I need to order proof copies and check them all before I can approve them.

And now for something a little different...! 

You know, I get so many lovely emails from you all, especially after each newsletter. I read every one and I SO appreciate your messages - they always bring a big smile to my face!

The only thing is... although I desperately want to reply to each of you individually, it's really difficult as there are so many messages that I just can't keep up. Plus, as you know, I suffer quite badly from RSI, so replying to a lot of emails is very tough on my wrists and shoulders 😔

Then I had an idea! 😃 I thought I could try a video chat as a fun way to respond to your messages. This way, I can show you photos and video footage too, of places or things I'm talking about (and Muesli also makes a special appearance! 😉)

Unfortunately, I still couldn't reply to every message (it's already 10mins long!) but please know that even if you weren't mentioned, I did read your message and was very touched. ❤️
