Hello! Just a short message from me today (okay, short-er message... when have I ever managed to write a "short" message?? 😅) - because I'm keen to hear from YOU this time!

As I shared in my last newsletter (which you can catch up on here: A Meltdown, an Audio Offer and a Special House Guest!) - I'm currently working on a secret project manuscript, which I'm hoping to finish by the end of June. 

And then in July, I'll hopefully be starting work on the next Oxford Tearoom Mystery. I know lots of you are really keen to get back to Oxford's "dreaming spires" and some cosy baking in the Little Stables tearoom... and of course, many of you are dying to find out about Gemma's love life! 😜

At the end of the last release (Book 12: A High Whisk Situation), things were still up in the air with Gemma and Devlin...

Will they have a "happily ever after"? Or could someone else steal (back!) Gemma's heart?

I have to say, I'd always assumed that all my readers would want Gemma to end up with Devlin, since he's the classic romantic hero: tall, dark & broodingly handsome - and a brilliant detective to boot! 

But recently I've been surprised to receive quite a few emails from fans telling me how much they love Lincoln Green and how Gemma should end up with him instead!

"Can I just say I prefer Dr Lincoln Green to Devlin!!! Devlin is too moody for me - and Dr Green was so patient with Gemma's mother and with Gemma. He secretly won my heart!! Maybe it's time for Gemma Rose to see him in a new light?!"

"I love Lincoln. I feel bad for him that he loves her,but she does not love him."

"We actually really dislike Devlin and so we are actually glad to know they break up, as we have been rooting for Lincoln!! We are STILL rooting for Lincoln! Please give Lincoln a chance ... please?!"

So now I'm really curious... how many of you prefer Lincoln to Devlin??
