As I mentioned before, this book is actually "Part 1" of the finale to the series. The original manuscript just kept getting longer and longer because I had so many things to wrap up... by the time I finished writing, it was almost the length of THREE cozy mystery books!! 

So the finale is going to be released in 2 parts: the first part (Book 8: "A Witch Worth Praline For") - just released - and the second part (Book 9: "A Fondant Farewell: Enchantments & Endings") - is longer and isn't quite ready yet. I still have to make some final revisions and corrections. But it should hopefully be released not long after Book 8.

(By the way, the release date on the Amazon book page is just a provisional date, since one gets in big trouble if one has to delay a pre-order for any reason... So it's always safer to add a "cushion" in case anything happens - you can always bring the date forward to release the book earlier.)
